Lightstyle is the web portfolio of Brazil born photographer Andre Ismael.

Lightstyle photography is based in Motueka, New Zealand and brings to the region almost 20 years of professional experience in advertising, still life, portrait, event, interior and travel photography.

During his time in Brazil Andre focussed on editorial and commercial photography which involved managing tight deadlines while creating high quality images demanded by magazines, advertising agencies and corporate clients.

Some of his clients include Tok n Stok (homeware & furniture), Santander Banespa (Bank), Bank Boston, Revlon, Zelo, Camicado and stylist Malu Monteiro.

Family, Lifestyle & Portrait

Andre has many years of experience capturing individuals, families, couples, pets and special memories in natural environments and studio settings.

Favourite photos are those that tell something about the subject(s), whether that be a favourite place, toy, pastime or special moment in time.

Andre also photographs people in their work environment from corporate portraits to more complex essays on the functioning of a business or service.

Travel, Landscape & Cityscape

Between 1995 and 1999 Andre and his wife spent many months travelling overland through the Middle East, Asia and South America.

Many of the images and stories produced have been published in magazines (Horizonte Geografico, Revista Terra, Revista Venice and Natureza) in Brazil.

Their world travels have resulted in thousands of images that have been purchased for use in magazine editorials and advertising campaigns.
